Like most traffic seeking marketers, I am busy surfing Traffic Exchanges, not just for credits, but to see what is being offered out there for my eyes to consider.

What I am seeing has become a negative norm of advertising that needs to be attended to by all serious marketers.

It used to be typos that caught our eyes, now it is domain names going down, bad sites with broken links, people who drop programs as fast as they sign up for them and never clear up tracks of where they have been.

Less Professional Marketers or more …?

Ya gotta luv the garbage sites that promote the latest greatest piece of software you already have for free on your computer, or as part of the tools you are paying for in monthly subscriptions in good working programs you already belong to -IF you work them.

Professional marketers avoid these traps while the newbie or Internet business wannabe jumps in both eyes closed while they run up credit card debt.

From the looks of what I am seeing advertised, there are less professional marketers doing the right kind of promotions or more newbie wannabe are flooding the traffic exchanges with hopeless offers your grandmother would know enough to avoid.

When you see all the “NOT FOUND” pages, lovely sites with overly large headers with nothing above the fold to tell you what is even being offered, bad redirects that can mean frame breakers and name your poison sites that build companies at best, and never the
marketer, it is obvious we’ve got troubles Houston.

This rocket to the moon will take those poor wannabes around the block and dump them in the credit card pool of deadbeats and won’t earn them so much as a nickel to pay for the ride.

Less is MORE – The Lesson you better heed now

Dump the never win programs. STOP buying till you learn what you already have in upgraded programs. If you are not upgraded, then you need to be. FREE is a door opener but upgraded creates the satisfactory bottom line.

Sign into your back offices and learn to navigate the menus and see what you already have in marketing tools you will never use if you don’t search them out and learn to use them.

TRACK EVERY PAGE you promote. Find out what is working for you and what is not in Traffic Exchanges.

Give them fair time to prove themselves first. Surf and earn enough credits – 1000 every three days or so – to prove the sign up rates you are getting or not getting – then dump the ones that do not bring in results. Your trackers and your web stats will show you the results. It takes time – a minimum three weeks for the experienced using the right tools for measurement, to three months to prove a good or bad advertising strategy.

What you do promote and how you do it – splash pages, lead capture pages, good copy that grabs, direct marketing mail campaigns, and follow up and follow through with your leads, all become accountable actions you need to be taking EVERY DAY - not just
when the mood strikes you.

Attend the conferences you don’t have time for. Learn what experienced marketers who give these conferences have to teach and test their theories. Make that time and be an interactive participant. What you learn may save you untold hours of overwhelming work.

STOP wasting your time on useless actions that only frustrate you. YOU are the one who has the control over what you are doing.

Improve on your goals; set one now and then and stick to it until you have some measurable results!

AND most important, be a super sponsor. Share your knowledge with your subscribers. Use in-house mailers, your auto-responder for great teaching mails, and any other form of communications that will reach them with the help they need – even if they do not ask
you for it. You KNOW they need your help so give it generously.

When Traffic Era first began, all the TE owners promoted it claiming it was going to be the biggest thing to ever hit the internet.

Pure hype. However, I jumped on the bandwagon and joined and then joined a team…007 Soaring4traffic.

Chatting with team members was and is a great feature of the exchange. One thing I noticed when I first began…some people spend all of their waking time surfing Traffic Era. C’mon get a life. I enjoy surfing too but I like doing other things as well.

Many people joined teams because it was a novelty. The team I am on was a good one at first but then too many members stopped participating. The novelty wore off. The team leader was having to spend too much of his time on Traffic Era and asked someone to take over. That person was me.

Over a span of several months the team has always been in the top 20 teams despite numerous personnel changes and the team is currently stronger than it has ever been.

Here is what I like/don’t like about Traffic Era:

Don’t Like – Too many inactive members. I have 61 referrals and the majority have never surfed. There are numerous teams where none of the members surf. This is not good.

Like – The generosity of credits earned by surfing and the ability to sell those credits to upgrade your membership or help a team member upgrade.

Don’t Like – Members who write nasty blogs about other members and criticize members in chat rooms. This is childish and has no place anywhere. There are unteamed members with fantastic pvs who will not join a team because of backbiting, insults, and gossiping.

Like – If you are smart, you can pay for a platinum membership and sell enough credits for logibucks to upgrade in TS25, Hit Pulse, and Traffic Pods.

Like – My teammates. They are a great group of people.

Don’t Like – The same teams being in the top 5 week after week. All these teams have one thing in common…they have 1 or 2 members who are super sponsors…they attract the best surfers and no one can realistically compete with them. This discourages other teams and they give up.

Like – The ability to earn tokens to trade for credits.

Like – Loyalty points. Upgraded members earn points every month which results in your site being shown when you don’t have credits assigned to them.

Don’t Like – Recruiting. The unteamed member list is basically a list of members with good pvs who don’t want to be a on a team.

Bottom line – Traffic Era is a good TE that needs a major overhaul.

Traffic is the single most important ingredient if you hope to be recognized to do anything on the Internet. It doesn’t matter how good you are at at your desired business without traffic (visitors to your site) nothing will happen. It’s been said that there are 3 types of marketers in the world.

There are those who make things happen there are those who watch things happen and all to many, particularly in the world of Internet Marketing, Wonder What Happened.

As for the third group it is generally the case because the face of the internet changes so quickly it becomes very difficult to keep up with and even more so If you are new. Not only does one need to learn the Hows Whats when where who and whys of the net they also must learn to get ahead of the changes and stay their.

This is hard enough even for the experienced marketer let alone for the Newbie. So what can be done? How can one get ahead and establish themselves as a successful Internet Marketer?

The very first thing required to become recognized is summed up in one word and that is…Branding.

Branding or labeling Primarily yourself. By a constant stream of advertising your face and name everywhere and as often as you can. Why? So your potential customers see you realize your authority and learn to trust you.

A good example can be seen in door to door sales, which more often has a very poor success rate. However, contact a good friend who has learned to trust you, as over a period of time you have gotten to know each other and they realise you are an authority on the product your selling.

Generally the sale is made for that reason. That Is Branding. You are branded by your friend as a Trusted authority because they know you over time. That is a must do If we are to be successful on the Internet. We Must Brand Ourselves

Today has been nothing less than exciting. Two brand new programs launched today, both of which are very unique and great additions to our online advertising needs.

As you saw from the previous post, Sunny talked me into joining Twitter. This is a pretty cool way to communicate what you are doing in real time, right up to the second. And of course I like it even more because its free. You can follow me if you like at:

http://www.twitter.com/soaringtraffic

OR, better yet look on the right side bar and you will see my latest 5 twitter comments. That is one of the new programs I just mentioned above. It’s called Tweet My Blog, fits in well with any wordpress blog plus combines the power of immediately notifying anyone following you when a new blog post is made.

The point here is, if you have a wordpress blog, plus you use twitter (which you should) this is a must have program that combines both for the best of both worlds. For instance, anytime you come to this blog, you will see what I’ve said in twitter recently. This program is free, has a OTO if you see the benefits but that is your decision. Sign up here: Tweet My Blog

As I said there was two programs launched today. The other is a very unique traffic exchange that combines the standard advertising package as well as opt-in list building, social networking, team surfing, add your own programs to the downline builder and a ton of other features not seen on your average traffic exchange.

My friends, Ed Tyner and Ryan Hogan put lots of thought, time, new ideas and I’m sure tons of money in developing this script. Knowing these guys, it will be around for a long time to come. You can even change the surf bar color to suit your preference and it has a unique way of giving bonus credits, lotto style.

You’ll just need to check it out for all the details. By the way, in less than 12 hours from launch time, it has already added 10 new subscribers to my email series. I was invited to preview the program 2 weeks ago and still find new things to work with. Really exciting new program if you ask me. Get all the details here: Promo Lotto

Pro Click Exchange news. Activity is increasing daily, new members joining us. Things are really starting to pick up. Don’t forget we will be awarding 5 members 200 credits each Sunday morning. To be in the drawing, all you need to do is surf a minimum of 50 sites, 4 days out of 7, week starts each Sunday and runs through Saturday. That’s New York time for our servers.

Good luck to everyone and thank each of you for being such loyal and awesome PRO members!

Don’t forget to check out the programs mentioned above, let me know your thoughts in comments below.

By the way, if you are following me on Twitter, every time a post is made here, you get instant notification.

Can you believe it? Ray White is finally now Twittering. He’s gonna have a ball.. he just doesn’t know it yet.

Are you Twittering? Do you know what it is? Well, run over to Twitter.com and sign up. I’ll wait.

Go!

Okay… then go to http://twitter.com/sunnys123 and follow me! Yup.. click on that “follow” button under my adorable picture!

Now.. you’ll get to see EVERYthing I say! I know you’re thrilled.

Check out the other people that I’m following, and who they’re following, and so on. You can click “follow” on any one of them!

A useful tool you’ll need to keep up with this, is called Twhirl. It sits on your desktop, and when somebody “tweets” (that means they say something) it will be shot through the internet at lightening speed (every 5 minutes or so) straight to your desktop! Woohoo!

From Twhirl, you can post comments, too. You can send them to everyone, or speak directly to someone… while everyone sees it, or you can send private messages. withOUT logging onto Twitter!

You can get this at http://www.twhirl.org/

What do you do with this? Network, silly! Jon Olson, Mike Paetzold, Robert Puddy, Soren… they’re all using it to let people know what’s goin on in their part of the world. They let us know about blog updates, conferences, stuff like that. It’s an AWEsome way to keep up with your downline, or subscribers!

So come follow me! oh, and Ray, too.. lol

Sunny!

While there are many valid opinions on how best to build an internet business, list building has been my most recommended.

If you concentrate on building your list, it really doesn’t matter what unique niche your online business is concentrated in. This especially includes affiliate programs.

If you’ve been online for any length of time and or using traffic exchanges, you know that advertising standard affiliate pages can and will show slow to zero results. Why? They are not unique, plus thousands of others are promoting the exact same page.

However, lets think a minute. What if you created a unique splash page, lead capture page and offered to divulge the inside secrets or detailed instructions of how to make money with your particular program? All anyone has to do is provide their name and email address to get all the facts from you.

Let’s say down the road you decide to broaden your niche into more products, or add more affiliate products. What if the program you were promoting all of a sudden disappeared? Hey, it happens all the time, but thats another story entirely.

Point is, if you have been building your list of subscribers, you didn’t lose your list/customers. They are still in your autoresponder and if you’ve built a good relationship with them it would be rather easy to point them in a different direction.

Confessing that for a couple of years, I didn’t embrace this method or truly understand the power it possessed. That changed of course when working for hours each day for maybe 2 years with little to show.

Hopefully this will allow each of you to at least consider the options and value the power of list building. To assist in a little more detail of how its done, tools needed, and ideas thrown in, I’ve created an email series for your review.

This series is aimed at providing the necessary steps to begin your list building system with zero to very little cash investment. We call it List Building Simplified. There are no real secrets revealed, just simple steps needed, ideas for increasing your subscribers and the programs and tools that keep it low cost and effective.

One of the most effective uses for traffic exchange advertising is building your list. By providing this simple email series, my reward would be that your traffic exchange advertising become more effective, your income grows, and therefore you become a more excited and loyal traffic exchange member of my sites.

The email series is provided at no charge. The lesson plans themselves are good training if you watch how each is presented. We also offer you the opportunity to copy this email series to your own autoresponder once completed.

There is no obligation, you can unsubscribe anytime. This is the link for subscribing if you have the desire to embrace the concept of list building to improve your online business. List Building Simplified

That’s all for today. Thanks for being a loyal and active member of Pro Click Exchange. You truly are PROS!

Hi! Sunny here again… I know you’re all thrilled. (that was sarcasm, btw)

Today I was thinking about all the things that are important about Internet Marketing, and for me, I think the MOST important is FOCUS.

Now I’m entirely too ADD to focus on anything for any period of time, which makes Internet Marketing pretty tough for me. I look back at past campaigns, you know, the ones that “didn’t work”.. and think to myself… “Hm. I only had 500 hits on that page, in 7 days. You think THAT had something to do with it?”

It wasn’t until I read an ebook called: 30 Days to Internet Marketing Success by Joe Kumar. Basically, it’s interviews with successful internet marketers, who answered the question, “What would you do if you had NO money, NO reputation, and had to start a business in 30 days?” The focus was phenomenal.

I took basics from that, to start to build my website, Gobs of ebooks.

When I surf every day, make updates to the site, email my list, my business definitely grows. When I start thinking, “Hey.. maybe I could do this…” and stray from my main focus, everything comes to a screeching halt.

I do, however, have several projects in the works. It’s tough finding the balance, and I read in that ebook to promote your current project 75%, and work on the NEW project 25% of your time. If I focus on THAT, I can have success on down the line.

Hope you all have something to focus on!

Thanks for listening!

Hello!!

I don’t know if ya’ll know me yet… But I’m Sunny. I’m from wonderful wonderful Texas… and extremely proud of it. I’ve been trying my hand at Internet Marketing for about 6 months now… and I’ve not made very much money. But… I will. Not sure WHEN… but.. I will =)

I’m doing aLOT of networking… getting to know people online.. gaining their trust, etc. It’s not easy… cuz I usually put my foot in my mouth… and have on MANY occasions… but, I have stuck around and learned a few things. One of the things that posting in forums has done for me, is that when I google my name (oh, I know you’ve done it too) I show up on a post in a forum. A few months ago, I showed up in the number one spot, when I commented on the Soaring4Traffic Blog. Cool, huh? Hopefully I didn’t say anything stupid.

I’m starting to write a few articles and ebooks now… which is why I decided to post here. I just found an article… that talks ABOUT article writing… (wow… that’s confusing), and it was talkin about outlines, and introductions, and conclusions, and blahblahblah. I guess that’s okay. Well, I’m sure it is. But in a blog, or a forum, where people just need to get to know people, and learn stuff, do I need all that…. structure? I know I’da stopped dead in my tracks if that’s how I started this one.

Now.. I do believe that I need to brainstorm a bit. You know… write down all that junk in my head, and get it not so full. Then kinda organize the thoughts from there. But, otherwise, I just try to write like I talk. That’s why you’ll see “ya’ll” and “cuz” in my writing. As I mentioned before, I’m from Texas. Yes, I CAN spell… sometimes I just prefer not to.

Some of the cooler (in my opinion) articles on article writing are these:
Article Writing Mistakes – 7 To Avoid

by Christopher Knight (wasn’t that one of the actors on the Brady Bunch?)

Write Some Articles!
by David McKenzie

Okay… so what do ya’ll think?

Pleeeease don’t leave me hangin, as the only one who posts here! I’d love to get to know you! (even if you’re not from Texas…)

Hope your week is getting off to a good start.

As promised in my last post, a new traffic exchange is being launched today.

This will be one of the few that will get my recommendation. Why? Simply because of who the owners are.

Stephen Ayer (TrafficRoundUp) and Bobbie Ivie (FunnyFarmTraffic) have formed Roundup Marketing, L.L.C. and just launched a really “groovy” new traffic exchange.

You will understand why I use the word “groovy” when you see the site.

It is called ClicksaGoGo.com so that should give you an idea.

If you want to join and check it out for free, I have a little something extra for you, if you use the link above and activate your account. Yes, it’s mine!

50 credits added to your Pro Click Exchange account, if you use the link above to join, but you must come back here to leave a comment on the blog about the “groovy” site, plus you must have an approved website in rotation.

Not a surprise that the best time to join a new program of any kind is during initial launch. Easier to build your referrals for extra credits and possible commissions should they make purchases.

Oh, for proper credit, I will need your ClicksaGoGo user ID# and your Pro Click Exchange user #. Just add it to your comments.

Keep trying to giveaway extra credits here. As of this writing only one member took advantage of that in the last post. John, thanks for your comments, really appreciate. 50 credits were added to your account.

Hope everyone has a very successful and prosperous week!
